Powerline Ethernet Adapter becomes a useful tool when we have to extend WiFi signals to comparatively bigger distances. They provide Relatively high-Speed Internet Connection as compared to the Wi-Fi because of their Ethernet type Connection.
Powerline Adapters come with two units, the first one is the “Base” unit and the second one is the “Remote” unit. TP-Link provides a whole range of Powerline adapters. Some of the common model numbers are AV2000, AC1750, AV1200, AV600, AC750, etc. Follow the steps below for TP-Link AV600 Setup.
Setup TP-Link AV600
Plugin the Base Powerline Adapter close to your Router and connect an Ethernet cable from LAN port on your router to the Ethernet port on the Base unit. Do not plug the powerline adapter into a power strip, extension cord, or surge protector.
Note:- Ethernet cable is provided along with Powerline Adapters.
Now plug in the “Remote” Unit in the area, where you need WiFi Connection.
Wait till Light becomes stable.
Now push the PAIR button on your “Base” Unit.
Within 60 seconds Push PAIR button on your “Remote” unit.
Wait till you see a fast flashing light on your Unit.
Once configured you can connect Ethernet cable from “Remote unit” to any of your devices like Laptop, Playstation, etc to experience the high-speed Internet.
TP-Link Powerline Adapters are plug and play devices, follow the above-mentioned steps and you will be good to go.
IMP: Press and hold the PAIR button for about 8 seconds to leave the existing powerline network. Press and hold the button for more than 15 seconds to reset the powerline adapter to factory defaults or you can setup it using tplinkrepeater.net.
